It's mid way through 2025 & so many things have happened over the last 18 months - including the very recent arrival of the newest member of Team Kortmar - Quinn - Aust Ch Vormund Man In The Mirror (Imp UK). Quinn has joined us courtesy of Vormund Kennels in the UK. No words can express our appreciation to Liz Dunhill & Michaella Dunhill-Hall for allowing Quinn to join us here in Australia.

Puppies - We have a lot of plans behind the scenes for pups over the next 2 years so we welcome your puppy enquiries. Both Show & Pet/Companion pups enquiries are welcome within Australia or Internationally.

We are located at Kortmar Manor, BARMEDMAN NSW 2668.

We breed our pups first and foremost for ourselves and not to meet market demand - we make available for sale those pups that we don’t keep or place into the show ring with others - we don’t have pups available all the time.

We do have plans for several litters of pups during 2025 & 2026 - we would love to hear from you if you are interested in joining the Kortmar Shiba Family.

Kortmar Shiba Inu

Kortmar are active breeders and exhibitors of Shiba Inu and previously, the Alaskan Malamute (20+ years)

Our history with Alaskan Malamutes goes back to 1991 with our first litter bred in 1993. We have bred and exhibited Best in Show winning dogs and in our earlier years, successfully raced the dogs in harness as well.

We commenced with the Shiba Inu in 2010 and our first home bred litter of Betty & Ebony will be 13 years old on 1 July 2025.
