So - once we all decided it was time to head for home we did the final leg for this trip - the Eyre Peninsula - where we checked out Kimba, Ceduna, Perlubie Beach, Coffin Bay and saw seals and whales.... I lovely finish to #BadBettyOnTour! Thank you for joining us on this adventure.
This week was pretty exciting - not only did we see the Dingo Fence in another 2 locations but we also checked out Woomera and Roxby Downs and an amazing little place called Andamooka - AND saw Lake Eyre (unfortunately no water in it at the moment) and traveled along the Oonadatta track in the #BadBettyBus!
This week saw the #BadBettyBus travel from Alice Springs out to the West MacDonnell Ranges and then Ayres Rock and the Olgas and then out of the Northern Territory and into South Australia - checking out the Dingo Fence before stopping at Coober Pedy.
The week started leaving Darwin and heading to Kakadu last Saturday and then making our way down to Alice Springs with a stop off in Bitter Springs along the way - its been lots and lots of driving in the #BadBettyBus!
This is the Darwin edition..... including the Champagne Harbour Cruise, Jumping Crocs (and I couldn't get #BadBetty too close - they were eyeing her off!) and Litchfield National Park - just a small selection of what the NT has to offer!
Early Monday morning we bid a fond farewell to Ron and Linda and to the community of Barunga - thank you for having us all and for showing us the Katherine Gorge, the old Maranboy Tin Mine and other sites around Barunga - Barunga was an experience we certainly didn't plan on - and I don't think anyone can quite understand the "Music Wars" unless you are there a while! :-) We headed back to the Stuart Highway and started on the way to Darwin - it was a bit of a hike but we took the opportunity...
Come and meet #BadBetty - our Clone of the incredible little Bad Betty (Aust Ch Kortmar Betty Boop) - the basis of Kortmar Shiba Inu.
#BadBetty is going on TOUR! July to September 2017 - #BadBetty will be taking you on a visit of Central Queesland, NT and SA - lots of pictures and adventures to come!
